The ten-day School’s schedule combines theoretical and practical activities, including keynote lectures, poster sessions, advanced hands-on workshops, and discussion panels, all focused on foodomics and its applications. The program includes interactive sessions where participants will present their research, technical visits to the laboratories of the University of Campinas (UNICAMP) and the Brazilian Center for Research in Energy and Materials (CNPEM), along with cultural activities.
The School was designed as an intensive and practical course, lasting two weeks, with each week adopting a distinct approach. The first week will address various omics, with a focus on biological systems. Each day will examine a different biological layer, featuring morning lectures, afternoon discussions, and presentations. Additionally, scientific companies will be invited to present new equipment and technologies during this week. The second week will focus on applications, from crop improvement to the effects of food consumption. Morning sessions will consist of lectures, while afternoons will primarily be dedicated to hands-on workshops in data processing and analysis.
